Feb. 26 2011

Wyatt woke up today at 330 am for the first time in awhile, coughing and sneezing. Mommy and Daddy have passed their cold symptoms to our little buddy. He laughs when he sneezes, and smiles when he coughs. Wyatt was giggling this morning when we were playing with a balloon, too cute. Daddy weighed him today and he is 16 lbs! That explains why Mommys back is a little sore after carrying him all day! Big Boy! Today we went out to lunch Downtown with Grandpa Wright and Uncle OJ, then visited Great Grandma Scott. Uncle OJ brought Wyatt a Blow Pop sucker. It was funny to see Wyatt holding a sucker in his hand. I imagined his hands all sticky, and face all red and slobbery when he is actually old enough to enjoy a lollipop for the first time. Great Grandma just loves to see Wyatt, she smiles so big and does baby talk to him and makes him grin. I know these pictures with Great Grandma and Wyatt are priceless, and I am just so glad that she is able to see and hold and love our baby boy. I really wish my Grandma Gerdom was still around to hold Wyatt, I know she would love him and kiss him on his cheek and say that he is a blessing from God. I know that my Angel Grandma had a part in helping God choose our special son. What a perfect fit.

Feb 20th 2011

My sweet boy (with the help of Dad) suprised Mommy with some candy and balloons for Valentines Day! Such sweet words that Daddy had to help Wyatt write in the card. I Love both of my boys. It was nice to finally have sunshine this week, and Wyatt went on his first stroller ride outside! The week ended with a visit to Great Grandmas house with Grandad Wright. Grandad makes Wyatt smile BIG!!!

Feb. 2011 Loving our Son

It is the month of LOVE-with Valentines Day here, Eric and I are experiencing the best love of all from our son Wyatt. It is a love like no other. A rush runs through me every time I see Wyatt's cute little face smiling at me. He laughed for his first time last night after bath time. He was lying on the floor and Eric and I were hovering over him talking to him, and all of a sudden came a bunch of GIGGLES! He did it twice in a row, and made Mommy start crying! What a sweet sound. He makes us happy, and we are making him happy. He weighs 15 lbs now, and is squeezing out of these 1-2 diapers. He is still eating about 6 oz every 3-4 hours, with a little cereal at night. Life is going well since I have been back to work for a month now. Wyatt is still sleeping from 8pm to 6 am everynight. I am able to leave for work and start seeing clients around 8am and I am home by 1 pm when Eric leaves for work. Grandma/pa Grossarth usually watch Wyatt when Eric and I want to go to the gym or go for lunch. Grandma Wright comes over at least one or two days a week to visit and let Mommy go to the gym. So, so thankful for our supportive families. Wyatt cant wait to give Daddy his first Valentines day card! I look forward to all of the little hand made gifts/pictures that Wyatt will make for Eric and I someday.
