Six weeks

The past six weeks have flown by, and our precious baby boy is changing before our very own eyes! Mommy has decided to start a journal/blog so she can keep up with all of the ever so rapid changes that occur in his life and share them with the important people in her life. Wyatt is now 6 weeks as of yesterday and is staying awake a lot longer during the daytime. He is eating 5 oz of his formula as of yesterday every 3-4 hours. The past few nights he has went to bed at 8pm and woke up at 2 am to eat! Wow! Mommy cant believe he sleeps 6 hours straight! Thank you rice cereal!  Wonder if you will love cereal as much as Daddy does ( he could eat it for every meal!) Wyatt is smiling  more and more each day. He loves it when Daddy makes funny noises and puts his finger on his lips. Today we visited baby Brandt Wingate - he is 3 weeks old now. You guys will be best buds. Glad that this past week of all the holiday rush is over, and we can get back to our normal routine! We had a great Christmas weekend and visited all around town! Christmas Eve was at Grandma and Grandpa Grossarth's( unfortunately Daddy had to work this year). Kylie agreed to be Wyatt's godmother when we have him baptized this summer after the adoption finalization on May 20th. On Christmas Day we went to church and over to Bill's house with Great Grandpa Gerdom, and Uncle OJ. Then we went to Great Aunt Reni and Uncle Toni's house where everyone loved Wyatt so much and Ingrid couldnt keep her hands off of him!!! Too cute! We had to watch her so she didnt take you our the back door and sneak you home! Then on Dec 26th we went to Great Grandma Scott's house with Grandad Wright. Grandma fed Wyatt, and Grandad rocked you until you fell asleep. Finally Daddy was off of work on Monday the 27th and we opened your presents at Grandpa and Grandma Grossarths. He got a horse piggy bank with a hundred dollars, some camo outfits, new boots, bibs, onsies, an elephant, and so much more.  Grandad Wright gave you a hundred dollar savings bond! Grandma Wright gave you a Carrier so Mommy and Daddy  can hold you close by! We were so excited to be able to spend this holiday season with the best present of all- Our precious baby boy- Wyatt James. You are everything we ever wanted, and more.
